Analyst/Senior Analyst Carbon market- Oslo
Point Carbon, the leading provider of news and analysis for the carbon and energy markets, is looking to add an experienced Analyst/Senior Analyst to join the department for analysis of the European carbon market (EU ETS).
The successful candidate(s) will be based in Oslo. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Participate in the operations of Point Carbon's market leading analysis tool, subscribed to by the majority of companies trading actively in the carbon market
- Market analysis, web-based as well as external communication to clients and at conferences/seminars
- Further develop Point Carbon's suite of market leading web-based applications
QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in carbon markets, or related energy commodity markets, is an advantage but not a necessity
- Strong academic records and at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Some knowledge of fundamental modeling is preferable
- Must be committed, reliable and professional
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Work independently with limited supervision as well as part of a team
